Conor McDaid
Director of Great Gait Ltd.
Conor McDaid is the UK’s first HCPC-registered Orthotist to hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. With over a decade of experience, Conor specialises in lower limb assessment, gait analysis, neurological orthosis, and spinal bracing. He is the Director of Great Gait LTD and previously served as Orthotic Clinical Lead at Wirral University Teaching Hospital Trust.
Conor’s clinical expertise spans traditional orthotic fabrication and cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing and limb scanning. A seasoned educator and speaker, Conor has lectured at the University of Salford and presented at national conferences.
As a formally trained medico-legal expert, Conor regularly provides reports for both claimant and defendant solicitors, adhering to Civil Procedure Rules for expert witnesses.
