Charity grants, crowdfunding and fundraising: making movement possible
Specialist mobility equipment can be costly, and for many families, knowing where to start with fundraising can feel daunting. In this free webinar, Tree of Hope Children’s Charity will share practical advice on charity grants, crowdfunding and fundraising, and explain how their team supports families to make fundraising clearer, more manageable and more effective.
In this webinar you will learn:
- How Tree of Hope works and the families it supports
- The support available to families throughout their fundraising journey
- Fundraising and marketing advice to get the most from a campaign
- What day-to-day support from the Tree of Hope team looks like
- A real-life family case study
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions directly to the Tree of Hope team.
Whether you are a parent or carer planning a fundraising campaign, or a physiotherapist or occupational therapist supporting a family to access specialist equipment, this webinar will give you practical guidance on where to begin.
If you are exploring funding for an Innowalk, our guide to how to access the Innowalk in the UK explains each step, from a free assessment to delivery.

Tree of Hope Children’s Charity supports families to make fundraising clearer, more manageable and more effective. You’ll hear from three members of their team.
Keri Platt
Family Support Manager, Tree of Hope Children’s Charity
Keri leads the Family Support service at Tree of Hope Children’s Charity, where she’s responsible for shaping and developing the support families receive. Her focus is on building a service that makes fundraising clearer, more accessible and less daunting, giving every family the best possible chance of reaching their goal.
She cared full-time for her severely disabled son for 15 years, so she understands first-hand the realities families face.
Katie Wotawa

Katie joined Tree of Hope in 2022 and supports families across the North of England and Scotland.
She works closely with both new and existing families, helping them understand how Tree of Hope works, navigate their fundraising campaigns and access ongoing support throughout their time with the charity.
Steph Carlyon
