The story behind BiOxy
The Covid-19 crisis has led to a shortage of respiratory ventilators worldwide. Hospital workers are struggling to give life-saving respiratory therapy. The need for an effective solution is imminent both short- and long-term.
At a request from the Hospital of Geel in Belgium, our researchers started developing a ventilator solution together with two ICU physicians. The researchers, the serial entrepreneurs within medical equipment, Dirk Wenmakers and Philippe Caers, joined forces with the Norwegian medical equipment company, Made for Movement Group.
With 25 years of experience, Made for Movement Group has substantial knowledge in medtech product development and quality systems, assuring innovations are ISO 13485 certified and compliant with national and international regulatory requirements.
To give BiOxy the required focus, Made for Movement established the subsidiary IncuMedic AS. Its purpose is to develop critical care products, both to address short-term and long-term needs.
Beyond our solutions is our commitment to develop uncomplicated, yet solid and reliable critical care products which can be made accessible anywhere in the world.
